My friend collected this fish in an waterpalm estuary, Southern Vietnam. He said it was about 6-7 inches in lenghth(including the tail) and is a pretty voracious predator. I would appreciate if anyone could give an identification.

i am pretty sure it is not one the one pictured above or marbled goby. The head and body are off. Even the fins aren't the structured the same as far as i can see. The scales are large and its head kinda reminds me of Scorpaenid ? Defenitely a goby though from the fused fin
