i came into my living room and all my fish were at the surface for air. I knew it was an oxygen problem so i checked the effluent hose from my canister filter, their was no water flow. So i checked on my intake and their was my 6 inch red eared slider with his whole arm sucked into the intake, hanging limply with his eyes closed. He bumped into the filter covering and knocked it off exposing the .75 inch hose. Judging by my fish at the surface the hose must have been off for a while. I quickly turned the filter off and moved him to the surface and removed his arm. He sprung back to life grabbed a whiff of air and charged to the other side of the tank. Lol a tough little turtle.

Better put a screen on that intake, nice save.
