Had to share of pic of one of my new boys I picked up last week. I have been wanting a nice size colored up male Intermedius for the 240g for some time now but have only come across smaller ones or unsexed juvies till now. Was at my club auction last weekend and saw this guy sitting in a bag on the table and had to make sure he came home with me. Made a great addition to the rest of my crew.

Thanks. Yeah it's nice having auctions I feel pretty lucky. I'm a member of the Michigan Cichlid Association and we have auctions twice per year that are only 2 miles from my house. Then we have the Motor City Aquarium Society that has two auctions at the same place as well. So I get to attend four auctions per year. Not only are there some great fish but the other upside to it is that you know most club members are all fish-heads like we all are, so the health of the fish at the auctions is usually top notch which is nice.

Tell ya what made it even better man, I snagged him for only $22 I paid the $2 priority to have it move right up to the block and fully expected to end up paying a good $35 or so for him but was shocked when I got him for so little.
