Internal bleeding?

I made another thread as I am really curious to know what happened to my buddies Ray.
Has this happened to any of you before?
Initially thought it was tagged through its Gill slit but maybe not as blood would pour out of the Gill?

Ray was fine and then about 10 days or so stopped eating and died. Found like picture.

Best way to see if internal bleeding is to disect, if blood in side the cavity would indicate internal bleeding. I believe all the blood and the redness on bottom of ray is from being dead and blood settling to the skin there.
