Internal filter making noise?

I run a fluval U4 and an external 405 on my 92g and recently forgot to unplug my internal when doing a water change. It only ran for a few seconds before I realised what I had done.

Now quite clearly air has got into the filter but it is now making a noise when running - how do I get the noise to stop!?

Pull the plug. LOL! Try placing the filter horizontally to release the air. You also may have to clean the internal filter.

I only brought the thing 2 weeks ago so really don't want to pull the plug if I can avoid it lol

Il try giving it a clean. I suppose what I was really getting at is have I broke it!?

Try unplugging and plug back in a few quick times.
