Hello every one here I have a temp tank for my 2 4 to 5 inch polleni while i am redoing there real home. I how ever am going to use this tank a permanent tank for my male salvini onces these guys are out of it. I had 2 large ziss filters in it and they kept scraping them selfs on them so they were removed and I did this for a temp filter allso has a aqua clear 70 on it. The moving bed chamber is simply a 1/4 acyrlic divider that was in the tank i moved to the side. these are the dividers i have ever purchased so far i purchased on ebay. Aquarium divider fish separator | eBay I have a few of these now quality is amazing on them. I have had it set up this way maybe a couple weeks. I tried using 1 inch and 2 inch foam block sheets i have left over from a sump build purchased from swiss tropicals. Poret® Foam Shop - SWISSTROPICALS to push up against the hole divider for the size of the inside of the tank and simply just did not like it that way with the suction cups did not work the way i would want it to. When this tank gets drained i will be removing the section cups and putting it in permanently or another sheet the same way different design. What are you'r thoughts. I am thinking of scraping the hole foam idea its self and maybe leave the bottom half of the divider with out any holes in it so nothing really gets inside. the way that it is now nothing really gets in the moving bed side, the filter pushes what it does not pick up to the right side of the tank and i suck it out. U guys and gals done it like this at all. Most probaully will not do it like this because they care what the tank looks like and its an eye sore i personaully find my self watching my moving bed filters as much as my fish so do not mind.
