internal parriste

my festae has stringy white clear poop so thats sign of internal parristie. ive already treated the tank 4 times with jungle parriste clear which is good for internal and external parrasites. the owner of the lfs told me to use garlic extreme and put drops on the fish food to kill internal parriste. can anyone confirm this or is he full of it. i dont think it will work because the main ing do not include any of the parrisite killing ones that i know of. any input. thanks

I would try Prazipro and/or Metronidazole. You can get pure Metro powder from www.jehmco.com, much cheaper than any other place. That stuff works really good, used it on my discus.

While treating with Metro, you'll need to dose daily, and do daily water changes. Replace any changed water with epsom salt. espom salt works for constipation, so it helps to move any bad stuff out of the fish.

I found Epsom salt soaked pellets works very well.
