how should i go about obtaining all the correct information i need to ship? i have been looking but not finding. i am from st. paul, Minnesota and i am looking to ship to Singapore. i don't know where to look to find the miscellaneous fees and how to write the customs forms. i have shipped other things internationally before so i know so of the things i need to do, but never fish before.

thanks

i have not done that yet. i am going to look at the Singapore international vendors and see if one of them can help some. thanks for the idea.

i have gottin no reply from any of them. anyone have any other ideas or experiences on this? i may just have to wait to try something next year with this guy since i am stuck.

i tried a few different things, but we just called it off for this year and well keep looking for something to try next year.

I would say call the company you are planning on shipping with and ask them for details... i'm sure they can at least give you a rough idea of what to expect...

As a heads up though, shipping live fish internationally is most likely not going to be cheap... i asked about having one or two 5" - 8" fish shipped from Taiwan to Hong Kong and basically was told its not worth it unless its a big order, since the weight of the water alone is whats going to start adding up real fast...

thanks for the replies guys. i was looking at fedex and ups and they only have 3 day service and ups wont ship fish out of the country. i could find that for fedex yet, but it is still a 3 day service and we want to avoid that. this was a large order to be shipped. the fish breath only air so less water could be used to cut down costs. i got some information from a vendor now. we will see what next year brings.
