LOL... funny fights but nice pics... :)

I have only kept two of the combinations that you have mentioned.

1. Oscars with Nile Tillapia: (1 Tiger, 1 Red Oscar & 4 Nile Tilapia)
I had just a little aggression between the two species and virtually only when the feeding time was at hand. They would often "Race" each other to pellets or meat chunks. I wound up seperating them due to their size outgrowing the tank. The two Oscars now have their own 135G tank, and the Nile Tilapia share a 135 growout with a Jaguar cichlid, a Dovi and a Butt. Tilapia. In all honesty though the exact same type of aggression exist(s) between the two Oscars and each of the Nile Tilapia! Both species are extremely fast growing and seemed to work very well in a growout as juvies. I do not have a tank large enough to house these adult fish together to answer weather this combo would work in a large aquarium. Obviously 135 is not even in the realm!

2. Buttikoferi Tilapia vs. Jaguar Cichlid (See above)
I currently have a juvinile Buttikoferi (~10" - 12" range) in with a Juvinile Jaguar cichlid of roughly the same size. There are the three remaining Nile tilapia (One already KILLED in this mess) that are all well over a foot long now as well as a 10" Nic. Blue Dovi also in this tank. The Jaguar is absolute monarch of the tank. Very rarely does ANY fish in this tank show ANY aggression toward the Jaguar cichlid and it does not seem at all aggressive towards any other fish within the tank. It appears to fully understand that it is absolute owner of the tank and the rare occurance of aggression from the Butti or Dovi toward the Jag results in an IMMEDIATE and EXTREME tail kicking of either the Dovi or Butti that seem to clearly keep them in place. Only once did I see any aggression from the much larger Nile Tilapia toward the vastly smaller Jaguar. This was where I lost the one Nile tilapia mentioned above. Freakiest thing that I have ever seen. The Jaguar hit the side of the agressive Nile Tilapia so hard that he was actually able to ripp through the skin and meat right to the bone immediatly killing the fish nearly twice it's size!

As for the others: The Dovi and Butti are constantly squaring off for #2 in the tank pecking order. I would say it is still around 50/50 which I believe is causing the never ending daily double digit liplocks between the Dovi and the Butti! The Dovi is for all intent and purpose relagated to one (the right) side of the tank. The Butti still roams the entire tank (Careful to avoid King Jaguar) and has clearly establised itself as the top Tilapia over the three much larger Niles! The Niles and the Dovi never seem to interact at all!

No offense, but the Butti in your picture looks horribly stressed r is just about the uglyiest Butti that I have ever seen. Gives me half an excuse to post pics of mine!
