My P.hystrix had 7,5" discus width and ate a lot, even last night before his death. This morning he began to swin in circles and he kept his tail raised. His breath was deeply. He showed a intestinal secretion and something like gut profusion. At night, he died. I am coordinator in Microbiology program at University, therefore I could to isolate, dye, observation by the microscope to determine the presence of intestinal parasites. I lost another stingray for the same thing, but in this case, stingray didn´t eat during 2 weeks. Any advice will be welcome.
