Intex for drop in liner?

I have an indoor pond I built and I’m at the point of getting a liner. It’ll be insulated with 1/2” foam board from home depo. The purple/pink kind. So my question is

Will an intex pool work as a liner? I’m looking at 8” round easy set pool

I have used Intex pools to overwinter fish in my basement for may years.
I also use styrofoam underneath as a cushion against the cement floor.

Just keep in mind some pool liners don't hold up well under sunlight for prolonged periods

I'd be worried about how it would hold up long term. Most of them barely make it through a summer, they're basically disposable.

I’m only gonna use the liner for a few months then I wanna build something bigger this was my first diy project
