has anyone had a serious problem? im looking at a stingray pond

if you read through the threads, the best bet is one of the hard-sided metal or pvc framed pools. especially with rays having such a large barb, i wouldent put one in one of the easy set air-filled pools, since they seem to be flimsy and weak.

if you check out my thread in the indoor ponds section it shows my intex pool setup. If I had rays I would probably put the thing on the stinger to make sure it didnt puncture the liner

leaving the airtube on a stinger can cause infection and irratibility. its not recomended to keep any tubing on a stingrays barb

i dont think the ray will get pissed off enough at the wall to sting it o.o

but if it got spooked it could gash it. i would just put a heavy pond liner inside the pool for added protection. just a double barrier to keep from having all your water on your floor and your fish dried out. just my .02

yea i was planning on putting a black liner in, bright blue would look weird with rays
