ok my mom bought a pool for my kids the other year an the pool liner got a hole in it an i was wondering if the filteran pump would work for a 125 gallon freshwater tank . the specs said it moved 565 gph is this enough or do i need more. if it will work in this alication i figured i could put some bio balls an fillter material in it

it will only give you like a 5x turnover, which is the minimum i will ever go. i would use this filter and then add like a fluval 4 plus submersible.
intex pool filters are not designed to run 24/7 are are pretty crappy filters anyway, i wouldnt even bother.
ok shoot the filter ran all the time witout fail for two summers i think. an i had figured i would need to mount it level or just above the tank but i was just qurious about it

2. This thing is loud. Not bad outside, next to a pool full of screaming kids.
