So I’m running through options my 600gallon tank is in definite need of a re seal it’s home to 3 motoro rays only about 12” disc some bass silver dollars and uaru. Now why I’m re sealing the 600 I’m thinking of throwing them in an intex pool but with work and life commitments the re seal job could definitely take a Long while. Have many people kept rays for a descent period of time in these pools? I’m more worried about them chewing through it then the accidental barb.

i would be concerned myself though.

I have not kept rays, but used Intex Pools to over winter cool water fish ( my ponds would freeze solid in winter, the fish were kept in the pool October thru late April early May, and I never had problems, always transferring seasoned filter media, plants , decor and some substrate from established tanks to make sure of the cycle.
