Well i guess like the title states. I did have 2 albinos silvers but one decided it was a good idea to try and jump over to the 75 gallon for some treats. " that didnt end well, i am still very heart broken ".
Well long story short i picked up a black/blue for a ultra deal and been grooming it for about a month now. It is about 5 to 6 inchs and very healthy. Ive been debating on when i should introduce it to my albino. whom is about a foot long now.

So how and what does everyone suggest. I wouldnt worry if the black was bigger but he is a tad small still, so that worries me a little.

It's always risky to add a new fish to an established tank. The silver will view it as an encroachment into its territory. At 5-6" it will be killed quickly, if that scenario plays out. I would wait. My silver will not allow anything into the tank that is small enough to eat, it immediately views it as food. All fish are different but I would proceed with extreme caution. GL.

I would personally wait until the Black Aro reached the size of the Albino Aro.

thanks i figured i should wait a while. i guess i will fill up the 75 gallon to speed up the process of growth.

+1 maybe even larger since blacks are known to be less aggressive compared to silvers and usually get bullied by silvers. I'd say slow down feedings in the silver and feed the black everyday

Thank Moe, I guess the rays living with him will have to learn how to be hand fed :).
yes the black went on a shrimp and smelt and pellet diet 2 weeks ago he is loving it so far.

maybe you can separate the tank so the blue arrow has a place the silver cant get to him. but maybe it will give them a chance to start getting used to each outher.

This is difficult, and sometimes the fish it's made for end up not using it. I wouldn't risk this personally
