Introducing female to male

At what size should I introduce my female fh to my male w intentions of pair formation? My male is grown (8-9") and probably 3 years old at least. The female is probably about 3-4" and under a year old.

use a clear divider then cut a hole in it female sized after a week. should/could be ok now if the tanks big enough, 100g ish?

5-6 inch is ok but it really depends on the male temperament

90. I've been researching dividers. Egg crate vs acrylic sheets any big difference? N where can I find the suction cups I see people using?

I did in on purpose and works nice, the female is clever enough to back to the safe place under any aggression

When you see the female al the time on the male side is safe to remove the divider
