An island somewhere......
We picked up this 11"-ish Midas from a friend yesterday, for my 3 year old daughter. I asked her what she wanted to name him and she said "FISH", so... Fish it is! :) I kind of cheated buy buying one this large but it would be fun for her to interact with him verses waiting for one to grow out.

And she picked out the gravel too.... my tank has been taken over by a 3 year old!

Sorry for the crummy pictures, it's a iPhone picture and the fish was in the tank for 10 minutes. I'll update as it settles in and hopefully the colors darken up with better water/food/tank size.

wow now im beginning think all the things Joey ever said about you is true. I love how members always saying this fish tank belongs to someone else when we all damn well know it belongs to the person posting.

Jealousy is a wasted emotion....... go back to water wolves!

I am sure she is happy with her new fish. Can't say I like the rocks, they make my eyes hurt lol. His coloration is great. Love the yellow and white.

I completely agree with the bright rocks... the poor fish is probably hurting also! I'm going to do the switch when she's not home, it looks terrible! It's actually a orange and white fish but those darn pink rocks..... sigh.

Nice midas. Now since your daughter stole your tank you have to go get yourself a tank.

:) I wish I had room. I made room for this tank specifically for this fish. It's so she has something to do while in the garage with Dad.

Keep the pink'ness.. He will be an angry, angry, interactive midas for you with it. I would be pissed if I had pink carpet too..

Seriously though he is very nice!
