i had two flowerhorn females that paired up and i found it quite annoying so i traded the female for a male that has been stunted. its spend its life in a 30g and was a trade in. so...i dropped him in the 125 and the female was going after him. shes alot larger and full grown. he is half her size and probably full grown. its kind of funny in a sad way....

anyways...i put her in a big net after she bullied him and then he got confident and started going after he chasing her...

now i have her in a clothes thing thats netted. i think the problem is she hasnt had her bond broken with the other female i got rid of yet... she has plenty of room in that hamper thing until they get along.

what is some good advice to help this process?

i have alot of decorations to break sight barriers...and target fish as well.

ps im looking for personal experience please

?

the female is in the same tank its just in a hamper that is pretty much a box made out of nets. so its getting the same water etc..

most the time the male and female have to be the same size in order to breed

lmao. videos i have seen...usually the male is much larger...but in my case its the opposite

keep them divided and introduce them about once a week so they can get aquainted if they fight just divide them up again
