Hello, I'm new here, this is my first post, and I would like to introduce my fish. (Sorry for the lousy photography.)

It's an African Lungfish obviously, 24 inches long and a lot thicker than my forearm.
I named it Pug. Short for Pugnacious because when it was 8" long, it killed everything in my tank LOL.
I have a few questions to ask if that's all right...
1. Does this qualify as a Monster Fish? Or do I have skinny forearms?
2. Anyone know what species it is? I'm guessing WAL (P. annectens) but I'm not sure. It's got a few polka dots and that's it.

Oh and By the way, I tried the new TetraMonster pellets, and it LOOOVES it!

PS Yup I know the tank is a little small. Getting a 6 ft tank soon!

Welcome to the Forum mr Worm. good to have an other lungfish keeper.

I hope people will learn from your experience...and keep their lungfish on their own and forget about tank mates for them.

to get to your questions.

1.-yes and ...maybe...;)
2. You got it right it's Annectens.

about the Tetra pellets (what's the propper name?) I'll might try those for my fish.

Welcome to MFK!!! Glad to have another lungfish keeper, there are not enought of us! BTW I agree with Grif with your questions!
