Introducing My HOLLAND BLUE RAMS!!

This week just by pure chance I came across a tank full of these massive Holland Blue Rams... compared to the standard German Blues these are double the size and reported to be a much more hardy robust fish. Anyway, I bought two (no females have been released yet till the breeders have made their money back I guess)... The two male I got have settled in well into there 15 gallon tank and set up territories.

Female rams seem hard to get at stores even the normal ones. Stunning fish. Wish it was next to something for comparison so we could really get the full effect of its size

Lovely specimens. Thanks for sharing! I really enjoyed keeping GBR's in the past. Below is a pair I kept in a 55G planted tank several years ago. Very interesting and unique little fish.

The two males seem to have stopped sparring and feed together and seem to be behaving well together.

Got a 1" female yesterday and straight away she dropped some eggs. I hoped the male fertilised them

Yeah Rams can be a very impressive species when when given the best chance in life... the correct water quality and perfect harmony with the other species in the the tanks.
