He all. ew to the site and I just have a quick question. Ive been keeping a senegalus for three years now. he is still only about 6 to 7 inches. Hes grown a bit in my time of keeping him, but i expected a faster growth rate. does anyone have info on their growth rate or any ways/foods i can feed him to boost this growth rate. thanks alot

that's a suprise, my Sen is a month shy of one year and she's a little over ten inches. What size tank do you have yours in?

I've only had my Sen for a few months and went from 3 to 6+" already.

Growth depends on type, quantity and frequency of feed, size of tank, number of tank-mates and frequency of water changes. Oh, and some fish are weird and just don't grow, like short people.

That was funny:nilly:

if you give us more info (tank size, other fish in tank, water change schedule, ammonia/nitrite/nitrate readings, what you feed) we can tell you what you're doing wrong. :)
