Introduction Tips?

Hi all,

So I was looking into pairing up my male and female red dragons.

The male is ~7" and the female is ~5".

Any tips on how to successfully introduce them and pair them up?

I was going to build a heavy duty divider out of egg crate/lighting diffuser and pvc pipe. My plan was to introduce them both in a 75gallon w/ 25gallon sump with the divider and see how they interacted for about a week. After a week I was going to open the divider with a hole that was big enough for the female to swim through, but not the male.

What should I be watching for in terms of levels of aggression? Is minor aggression and lip-locking to be expected?

I am fairly new to FH's but from my understanding egg crates can be dangerous to FH's do to the fact that they will try to attack the other side. I use plexiglass and they still ram that pretty hard.
