Thats pretty cool Ben! Rays are known to do backstrokes once in a while. Juvies
more so than adults.

The most active ray ive had was a 6 inch humerosa.
It swims backwards(just like that), jumping on the side of the tank, imitating garfield and acting like a huge suction cup. Theyre fun to watch. Thanks for sharing !

this ray does a back flip everytime its feeding time

he's lots of fun to toss squid across the tank into his mouth while hes upside down
