http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=95519
1.so how do i know what i can hook up to it?
2.how long can you run them?
3.with the car off,how fast do these kill the cars battery?
thanks if anyone has some info on these things
:)

1>Just plug into your car's power point or cigarette lighter

2>As long as your car runs and after off til the car battery dies.

3> Aroudn the same as leaving your lights on I believe.. Maybe more maybe less..

How much power is the pump pulling watts. volts...

depends on how much watts your air pump use. a friend of mine ran 2 Tetra pumps (7 watts each) with an 150w inverter for over 24hrs with no problems. his car started right up!!

1.i know where it plugs in just was wondering how i know the limit of things i can plug into the inverter lol
just looked on one of my pumps and it says 3.5watts,not much,i figured more.
so i could run 20 air pumps on this inverter?lol

24hrs without the car running?

Well it is generally a good rule to only run the limit of outlets on the inverter.. if there are two outlets.. you can run two pumps...

Personally I am radical on diy.. So i would wire a couple pumps to the same plug end and plug that in if I needed...

i used a power inverter when i moved to and back from florida. i ran an air pump and small fluval submersable filter in a 37G rubbermaid. it worked great. i used a preset heater also.

tuff to get answers out of you
lets say i want to hook up a welder to an inverter....LOL
so like everything has a watts rating?
and as long as i dont go over a 100 watts im ok?
so if a big tv is only 50 watts, and a dvd player is 30 watts
im at 80 watts and this is ok?
thats what i meant by what can i plug into it
:D

all 3 things on one inverter?
you remember what watt was the inverter?

thats correct, but inverters wipe out 12v batterys FAST! think about how much 12v energy you need to make 110v

even if i cant help you on photography i can get you squared away on inverters :):)

is this for emergency use or when transporting fish in your car with the motor running ????

with a quality inverter you can run as many watts as its rated for HOWEVER motors draw very heavy amounts of current on start up.....careful here
