I'm an idiot. I seriously thought I could get a 240 into by bedroom window. Low and behold I'm about a 1/2 inch shy. I can easily make up for that 1/2 inch but figured I go the safer route first.....

So here's the deal..... I need a 6 foot tank..... NEEDS to be 2 foot deep. So either a 180 or 210. I'll trade my acrylic 240 for it....... OR a decked out 125 with a 2 tier stand. Will throw filters in on 125 if necassary.

The acrylic is 2 by 2 by 8. BUT was previously a divided tank. It is no longer divided but where the dividers were are visable. Tank holds water fine and does NOT bow. The backs have been cut to accomodate for AC 110s or similar HOB filters.

Would prefer a reef ready tank and will pay accordingly. IF you have a 7 foot 210 PLEASE get a hold of me ASAP..... As that is what I would really be after......

If it was nice enough I may entertain the thought of both the 125 and 240 in trade towards it.

If I can't find anything I'll cut the window frame and set up the 240.

If you have anything or know of anyone that does PLEASE lemme know.

I have a 125 I believe the measurements are 72" long 22 high annd 18 wide. It is on a tall stand, but not 2 tier, though it is custom made, and if one wanted with a bit of work you could probably cut some of the middle panels out and make it into a 2 tier stand if you are handy.

I wouldn't mind seeing the tank you have, and if alls well, probably make a trade if you don't find exactly what you are looking for. Just let me know I dont get on MFK daily anymore so if Interested email me at awelu @ mchsi.com of course take those gaps out put them in there so bots dont nab my email addy ;)

I've been looking for a larger tank myself and this may suit us both, if that's not enough I also have a 55 gallon I could potentially throw in with the 125, just let me know.

LOL.... Should have seen the original plan. Doorways are 7 foot. BUT I have an attic right in the bedroom hallway. I was going to actually lift the 240 partially into the attic then bring the bottom into the bedroom as it came down from the attic. 1.5 inches got in the way of that plan.

I KNOW I can shave enough off of each side of the storm window retainer to get it in.... Problem is the space it would be going into is 9 foot. Which leaves inches to get into the closet by the time the 5.5 foot tall skimmer is put into place....... LOL in all reality I'de probobly just use the closet to keep the skimmer in.....LMAO....

Anyways....... I do NOT need another 125. I don't need a 125 PERIOD. Like I said I am looking for a 2 foot deep tank..... but thanks for the offer......

The first post NEEDS to be edited..... I HAVE a 125 that I would be willing to trade AS WELL, either with the 240 IF you have a REAL nice tank or that 125 plus extras towards your 180/210. I HAVE a 2 tier stand that would go with the 125 in trade towards the 2 foot deep 6 footer....... Sorry for the confusion......

Shave off 1/2" from each side on the window. (is a window in there? or just framework?) Put all the filters in the closet..lol

Just figured maybe this could benefit someone here in Iowa........ Just trying to share some MFK lub......

Oh, the 240 has a 2 piece stand too that I just finished last weekend. NOT the prettiest thing in the world but if you just add trim of what ever flavor you like it could be...... in other words it's a 2x4/6 skeleton. VERY strong. I wouldn't hesitate to park my Jeep on it.

IF anyone that has a tank fitting the "wanted" description would be interested in some VERY nice captive bred rays they should also get a hold of me......

what rays do you have?

First batch of Marble pups is on the way but I don't know exactly when they are due..... Should be end of Feb at the latest..... I have a Jag too that will be up for sale if the pending backs out.

Jag female $500. Pending won't have $ till March. Go ahead and try to find a nicer one..... One of the prettiest I have seen over here. Looks VERY similar to a Signata. IDed as a White Seam.

Marble pups I'm not for sure on. Have to have them first. Would feel silly lining up buyers before they are here. Guessing around $300 give or take. They will definetly be some lookers. Both parents are really nice Marbles.
