So on May 12th, 2010 I picked up a WC (Rio Magdalena) male Umbriferum from the one and only Ira. Some of you might know that I've been searching for one for quite some time. Gone thru several which turned out to be female. Anyways, below are pics of him upon acclimating. He was roughed up upon arrival but it was expected since he literally arrived from the wild less than a week prior. His attitude was on point however the minute he got use to his new home...aggressive, outgoing, and tons of personality. He literally begs for food 24/7. Also, his freckling is great. When Ira recommends a fish, you take his word
I've been wanting to post these pics but just been extremely busy. He has so far put on more mass (no sunken belly), fins healed, and his color is coming along nicely. I can't wait to see how he turns out after a few more weeks/months of some TLC. I thought I post these pics first then will post later w/ a more recent update.

Post some pics for sure especially when you get your new male Umbee.
