Hi, I have 2 Iridescent Sharks in my tank. They're still pretty small so my 55G tank is still holding them well. But will be switching to a bigger tank in the near future. I'm currently feeding them flake food and frozen bloodworms. Which they are feeding very well on. But i would like to have more food varieties for them. I've seen online where people feed them pieces of fish or prawns. I would like to do the same, but have no idea as to which whether i should cook it first or just feed them raw pieces. Another thing, they are so timid. Is there anyway i can do to let them get use to people walking near the tank or opening the lid for feeding times.

Hey I have a situation a lot like yours. My biggest ID in the 500g died of old age but my 2 small ID's are in a 50 gallon, waiting to be of size for the 500!
I usually feed them small chuncks of shrimp (on occasion) wraped with a lettuce leaf (vegies) with some brine shrimp and flake filling.

Oh, do you like boil or cook the shrimp first? Does yours like it?

No need to cook it, just make sure on the ingredients that it's just raw shrimp and it'll be fine

yes mine likes it - I usually give it a 3 sec microwave, but raw is fine.
