Iridescent shark wounds treatment

I bought an albino iridescent shark at wednesday, very active with my clown knife, my clown knife attacks him today because i didn't put enough food for him, he had his fin bitten and had blood, need some suggestions for trauma medicines, already added one and a half fish pill to his quarantine tank, if you had any suggestions please reply

......a fish pill? Judging by the looks of what I can make out in the photo I would say the best remedy would be good, clean water in a stress free setting and the fish should heal nicely.

My question would be what medicine did you already give him; not a good idea to mix medicine willy-nilly. Can be worse than doing nothing at all. For minor injuries I would usually treat with salt or melafix, but not in conjunction with other meds. For catfish or scaleless fish I would go mela instead of salt.

they say this medicine can treat head rotting, eye problems and inner problems of the fish, i guess it can treat trauma as well as this medicine was know for treating head rotting

I don't see any significant damage or any inflammation or redness on the IDS in the photo.

I don't understand the "water conditioner is a medicine" statement, sorry. Just new to me. Never heard of it. Can't enlarge the picture to see what the label says... The most I have come across is that water conditioners state "helps restore protective slime on fish" or some such, or once I came across a water treatment like a bag buddy that stated to "help start healing minor abrasions faster", which may be related to the previous statement.

IDK what head rotting is, never heard of it. Sorry. I am guessing hole in the head disease? If so, HITH is a very tough issue that requires a serious approach.

Anyhow, the main thing, as stated above, is that the affected fish is comfortable and stress-free and it will recover on its own just fine, chances are. Medicating is the last resort in my book. Other peers may think differently.

Yes the head hole disease, the medicine is very effective, his fins are now recovered, thanks for your advice
