iridescent "shark"

i bought one today for $5. anyone know how big they get i keep getting a bunch of diff answers. oh and can they eat guppies?

Short and sweet they can grow to more than 3' if fed and maintained properly, and once they are large enough they can eat guppies. So if you keep guppies that combo might not work for ya!

I have one I bought him 7 months when he was 2 inches now he is 9 inches I didnt think he was gonna grow this big so quick Now i cant wait until he grows to 24 inches.... Just becareful with water changes when they are young because I heard they can get ich & they are very clumpsy they crash into the glass alot when stressed

I let my friend care for my ID Shark when it was in the 1.5-2" range and she put it in with her danios and guppies and even at that size about half of them disappeared...

This guy was around 20" when I adopted him, he's up to 24" or so now (I think I've had him less than a year!).
