Sorry for the bad photos. Ive rescued him 3 days ago and he isnt eating since then. He is not very active and he has a pale redness near his tail and along his body. I suspect that he has some kind of internal infection. Ive had another iridiscent shark that showed the same symptoms and after almost 2 weeks without eating a treatment with kanaplex solved the problem, so im thinking about doing the same with him. What do you think?
right now he is in a temp quarantine of 60L with a filter of 500 L/H and a heater ,24 C. He's around 10 cm

Hard to really say. I’d suggest try and feeding for now and clean water. Would avoid the kanamycin. If it eats and is active along with clean water. Then I’d imagine it won’t need the medication. That’s just my opinion.

If u believe it’s similar and confident then treat with the kanamycin.

Good advice from kno4te. Personally I would also consider to bump up (gradually) your water temperature a bit -- 24c seems a bit low imho.

Here in Thailand (native home to Iridescents) our tanks are running at 28c-30c year round. Yes this is on the high side (if I were you I'd aim toward about 26-27), but it's rather unavoidable and our fish are always hungry and usually healthy.

Hi. he is eating now. but a few times during the day he is stopping to move and hanging in the spot. ive never seen a panaga acting like this, those fish swim all the time.. do ou thing this might be a sign for disease?
