Iron addition for heavy planted tank

Hi all,
I have tested the aquarium for iron 1 day after I dosed Seachem Flourish which should have some iron but resulted around 0.1mg/l which is low right?

Test kit is advising to add more iron. Should I get Seachem Iron? Or something else? Should i dose iron weekly and seperate from the Seachem Flourish?

I add iron 3x a week the same days I add my trace ferts. Here's where I get it, much cheaper than the expensive seachem stuff:

that website does not ship to Malta EU so I have to find something else something like Seachem Iron or should i try to find some dry ferts locally?

Hmm that sucks! I would try to find some locally. You save sooo much money by using bulk dry ferts.

also i only dose once a week Seachem Flourish. With the iron dry ferts should i dose 3x a week as you stated? That's where I get my dry ferts. It's so much cheaper than Seachem. Here is a link if you want to read up on the EI method.

how can i make the bottle of iron? Also how much do you dose weekly? Do not forget that i dose Seachem Flourish weekly

Yeah, basically the same stuff. Is this a high light/co2 injected tank? I dose everything 3x a week, macro, micros, and iron. I dose it dry, directly into the tank. All the details are in the link posted in post #6

i cannot find nothing on iron only.

i have 216 W T5 light on 450 litre tank. I also added reflectors. I have CO2 with PH controller set at 6.8.

Sounds like a pretty high tech setup. You should really be following a complete dosing routine. Are you dosing all the other ferts? Once a week for Flourish/trace supplements seems pretty light IMO
