Irresponsible Resident dumps fish into Library pond

So a woman rescued seven hundred of the fish and is down to less than three hundred of them...I wonder if any LFS owners had taken some of the fish to sell in their stores.
I've been wanting to dump a shoal of piranha in the bobs furniture store indoor pond for years and see how long it takes to eat all the koi 
Sadly, this is common practice in urban areas. Last summer, someone caught a 11" pacu in a small lake in Twin Cities and plenty of Oscars, pleco, goldfish and koi were sighted. A dry piranha specimen was found on the shore too.

That's horrible. Even if you hate the owner, the Koi are just there.

I'm thinking with the rescue lady taking 700 fish into her home & only? having 275 left to rehome, most were smaller specimens. that is a LOT of fish.

No kidding... I thought about taking some as feeders (depending on size of course) for my Fahaka, but I don't want to deal with the quarantine period.
My guess is that they're probably goldfish or red rosies or unwanted cichlids or koi.
