Greetings everyone, I'm new to catfish and have bought a piece of 3.5" Megalodoras Irwini to start with, currently comm with my little pb, afro and bichir. This morning, I notice the tail of my Irwini was torn and portion of it was snap. Is it advisable to cut the tail off for it to regrow or it will heal itself?

You don't have to do anything. It should heal by itself. Unless it gets fungus and to goes in toward the body, than you should be concerned.
Thanks for the reply twilight! Would it affect the tail structure as it grow?

ps, im still new to cats and learning more on them..;)
