Is 12 inch tank high enough for rbp

I just found a great deal on a 72 long bye 18 wide by 12 tall it has a great foot print and was wondering if 12 inch would be high enough for my adult rbp which are currently in a 48 long 18 wide 24 deep if it is not good for my adults I will use as a grow out tank for the fry just thought it was a great foot print if useable

Alright well I bought the tank and will be putting 5 red bellies in it

I think it'll be ok. Just make sure there's some foliage so they won't get spooked and jump out. The wider footprint will be ok for them. Make sure the water level is to the brim.

Hmmm.... That's a good question, they might be. Mine tend to be mid to bottom they're in a 125 , 24 in. Tall it's rare they go to the top. LMK how it works out some people say RBP's prefer length over hight, but I have no personal experience with that.
