Is $21 a good deal for a Asian RTC???

Are you comfortable spending that on an Asian RTC? A fish is like Art... it's worth what ever someone is willing to pay for it...But just remember that a Asian RTC is a species only fish... it needs it's own tank or it will kill everything else you put it with.
price isn't too, bad, but if you have a single monster catfish tank, i would much prefer a devil cat.jdiidy271;1819230; said:
any ARTC ive seen at that size it was about 10 bucks. However ive had to explain to at least to LFS that this fish will kill its tank mates. The other day i was in a store and they had a easy 8" (69.99 if you were wondering) specimen in one of the front tanks with severums and gouramis. And i was disgusted. I didnt even bother to tell the store about it. cause maybe when they come in and half the fish are dead they will finally learn that these fish must be kept by themselves. I have another ARTC story, but ill tell that one another time. 
About a year and a half ago I picked up small artc and now he's 16" plus and living all by himself
oh yeah, i paid $6 at that size. He's cost me over $150 dollars worth of tankmates, and the cost of finding him his own solo tank, then the eventual cost of getting him his solo pond...
