Saw a 180 gallon tank and its .4" thick. I was wondering if that is thick enough for the tank? The tank that I am eyeing is not leaking nonetheless.

Also, is $500 a good price for a 180 gallon tank with minimal to no scratches? It comes with a stand, wet/dry filter (rated for a 300 gallon), and a return pump?

Thanks!

thickness of glass depends on the height of the tank. how high is it? 1cm is good for tanks up to 60cm.

Ooopss... I forgot to mention that it's acrylic. Its a regular 6'x2'x2' acrylic.

Can anyone who got a ruler and a 180g tank please measure theirs?

Thanks.

most acrylic 180s are made of .5" acrylic bro. some are made of 3/8" which will bow a lot more. Ive had a 180g made of 3/8" and i just didnt like how much it bowed.
