is 450 litre ok for rtg

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yes, its fine, they only get 2 feet long so a width of 2 feet is mandatory, and while 6x2 would be preferable a 5x2 is fine.

i wouldn't say fine... it will certainly do for a while.... if not life.... proberly would need to upgrade in a couple of years... ideally tank should be at least, length of 3x the fish and width of same length as fish, i will reiterate they are ideal minimums... slightly smaller can work but less than ideal where as the bigger the better..... if you follow...

Thanks i think i will go with a 6x2x2 just to be safe

I would suggest a good 2.5 feet depth and width. You will get to see what I mean when they reach 20 inches plus.

yes its fine for quite a while.
ive seen them kept in 4 by 2 by 2.
and they will last quite a long time in that tank.
of course a larger tank would be much better.

I could probably stretch to a 6x2.5x2.5 is that ok for a temporary home

i guess this will be the most ideal tank size for your asian arowana. ;)
