???
a nile perch, gachua, weeksii, ornate, and albino bichirs??

hell no

there is nothing you can keep with an aba aba

your chances of keeping one with something else are EXTREMELY slim

this isnt like a snakehead, arowana, flowerhorn, dovii, etc, etc, where you can be fortunate every now and then.

consider anything toasted if you keep it with an aba aba.

agreed....it is extremely viscious.....

my aba aba is living with 2 aros, 3 fh, an alligator gar, and some plecos, take note that my aba aba is more than 3 feet long now! :naughty:

I have a 10" aba with a 10" Fei Feng, 6" Tarpon, four 5" Lizard fish, five 3" albino gibbiceps plecos, one 8" Black Ghost knife , and three 4-5" albino Clown knives (Chitala sp.), all living in harmony with no aggressions whatsoever. There is only one rock in the middle of the tnak, and all the knives hide in there. Very fine sandy bottom is where the Lizards hide, and the plecos are just everywhere eating leftovers. I think the experience of one person should not be limited or generalized as a base rule of thumb. With proper care, and enough room, I think an aba would be a good community carefully selected fish. The bichirs probably would've eaten the abas if they are small enough. Remeber that bichirs will eat anything that would fit in their mouth, and the aba's are slender in shape, so theyw ould easily fit. A larger aba would be recommended to live with bichirs. But I have my bichirs separated from the abas only because i am planning on breeding the ornates...

thank you all. a lfs around me has a deal bargain for 20 bucks on a aba aba.
