ie seen it done lots of times on japanese based websites and want to get a small 5-8 incher for my 90 gal (4x18x24). so with adequate filtration and no decor is it plausable? the biggest ive seen them getting is 18 inches and this seems like a more reasonable captive size then ive seen listed before.I mean they arent the most active bichir. hed be in with 6 other bichirs and some other tankmates. ive only seen a couple here for sale and im debating jumping on one the next time i see one. Comments?????
(if i got a small one by the time it got 18in i could prob purchas a 180 like i plan too.)
thanks guys:cool-1:

I think you can do it with no problems

anybody else???

I used to keep two 12-14" endi's, 15" ornate, and a few other smaller poly sp. in a 60G(15"D), I just kept up with wc and heavy filtration. IMO that sp. does not require a large enclosure. In a 90g I would not hesitate to keep them in that until 18-20", once they are over a foot their growth slows. You will be fine for quite a while.

sweet thanks guys

yup i agree w/ them, its more than enough for an endli endli, even a pair would do.
hope you get the endli. :)

im gonna get at least one guys i promise.
