In my 90g tank (standard dimensions) my lighting system holds two T10 bulbs, however I have never seen T10 bulbs sold with a wattage beyond high 30s or low 40s. Because of this I am unable to get the the minimum 1W/gallon output I would like. Do these bulbs exist or would I have to buy a T8 fixture to get that? Also, might it be cheaper for me to simply buy a new T10 fixture that can hold 3 bulbs?

Thank you

Dont know about the bulb situation but if you buy a new fixture get a double bulb T5 fixture. They are higher output and the bulbs have way more options.

T10 is older tech, even T8's are old tech now, so depending on what you want to grow, i would say look into maybe DIY T5 shop lights if you're on a budget...

Otherwise, you could do T5, T5-HO, good quality LED's although these are still quite expensive depending on choice...

There is no such bulb as a T10, do you mean T12? If so better figure on getting rid of the T12 fixture as they no longer make T12 lamps. In a few years they'll start phasing out the T8s also.
