Is algae growth a good or bad thing?

I've had my tank setup for about 6 months now and all of a sudden I'm seeing algae build up on my filter tubes in the tank, on the glass, and on the air bubble hose

its a good thing cuz it meansz your tank is cycled and healthy

Get a pleco, or remove it. No real reason to let it grow unless you enjoy the way it looks. Do you have live plants?

No live plants but I can't get plecos with my ray I don't mind the way it looks
