Is algae harmful to arowanas?

always wondered? cause i always get some algae around my heater, air bubble. Just wondering if its okay to leave it alone or its harmful to arowanas.

how are the algae? Is the tank in the sun?

sometimes there is exposure to the sun. But most of the time i leave the light on.

are you talking about algae on the glass, or algae that looks like hair in the tubes and stones, etc?
