Is an Emperor loache rare?

'Googled' this guy a few times. Supposedly it's rare. Is it?, or not? If this is an Emperor loache, is it rare or not?(it's about 3") One photo of mystery/Emperor? Other is of the other 3 I bought at the same time, they are definitely Yoyo.

That's not an Emperor loach, that's a Burmese Border Loach, Botia Kubotai.

Yes emperor loaches are rare but, I have to agree with ewurm and say that that's a kubotai. I got a few emperors and may post some pics of them if I can find my camera lol

doesnt look like a kubotai to me. at 3" you would have dots on them. i have kubotai and emperor loaches and to me, your pic does look like an emperor.you should post clearer pics. it can also be a botia histrionica

Sonycrr got it right. It's a botia histrionica for the top photo, or known as a golden zebra loach. In terms of rarity, I'd say it is uncommon to have a golden zebra at 3"+. Below is a great ID site for loaches.
