Is BGK known to eat eyes?

I remember reading somewhere that someone’s BGK ate the eyes off their lamplight tetras. I couldn’t find any more anecdotes like this and forgot about it until today. I’ve had my BGK for about 3 months with no issue but last night, one of my yellow Congo tetras had its eye eaten. I suspect the knife. Has anyone here experienced this with a BGK?

tank is 75 gallons and has all juvenile fish-
1 red spot severum (3 inch)
1 heckelii (3.5 inch)
1 EBA (2 inch)
1 BGK (5 inch)
10 Venezuelan corys
6 Congo tetras (1.5 inch)
3 mollies
2 BN plecos

I personally had a BGK a few years ago and it never ate any of the fish eyes. I've never heard that until now.

I would suspect one of the Cichlid eating eyes if the fish was sick and dying.

BGK are definitely the main suspect. Here in Brazil knives are known for eat others fishes eyes during the night.
