Yes he is too fat, he is a slightly larger version of my synodontis eurpterus before I slimmed him down. What I would do is feed once a week, next week go two times, then repeat. I slimmed mine down in about two weeks by fasting him for the majority of the time because I was able to move him to a personal tank.

Humans tend to over feed fish for various reasons and more so for sedentary fish so it is to be expected that a fish gets fat if they’re a sedentary species especially if they’re in a community tank, I’d remember this schedule over the years and when you notice he’s getting fat do it again until he’s an appropriate size.
I dunno, I feel hypocritical judging a fish for being fat...

He hasnt eatin a single fish... everyone in there is too big for him to eat except 4 otto cats that the endli has already claimed as his own lol...
He gets 2 massivore pellets every second day not a peice more... but he never leaves his hide... I saw he looked pretty chubby feeding the other day... so 2 days later I brought him out with the food to see and that's where the video came from.
