I noticed that my tank is starting to have bubbles lining up at the top along the tank....Is this bad or good??? Bad filtration???

Colored bubbles?? Did u add any decor like driftwood?? Usually means something porous thats dirty is in the tank..

No just clear white bubbles...and yes i do have a log decor in the tank...been in there for a while now...is that the problem?? how can i fix it??

Its more of a foam from minerals then. If you do a 40% water change ull be almost clear. Just make sure u add "prime" or some other dechlorinater when adding tap water, also make sure the temp of the new water is relativly the same as the tanks. And if u rinse ur filter foam or media USE TANK WATER! TAP WATER KILLS BACTERIA!

id do a change tomorrow and it will be significantly better and maybe another one in exactly 5-7 days!!

What is ur setup? Fish, tank, filtration, heater, etc!

Maybe i can give u more advice.

^^ my setup: 55 gal...5 pb, 2 rtc, 2 sterlet sturgeon, 1 cp...300w heater...no live plants just log decor...a 20 gal filter and a 50 gal filter along with a super biochemical sponge filter...

do you have any plants in the tank? they release oxygen everytime I have watched the bubble seems to pop at the surface maybe if its caught under the glass etc it cant pop? just an idea!

^^ no plants just log decor...

You need to do water change. Usually bubbles are caused from dirty water or your filter media is not good enough to handle all the ammonia.

Thanks guys for the info...I guess ill be doing a 40-55% w/c tomorrow after my new fish settles in and i get out of school...xD
