Is celery good fish food?

I have a ton of celery here that I won't ever eat. I know my Uarus will eat anything and love veggies, but I wasn't sure if celery, being all stringy and tougher to chew, is OK for them. If it is, I'll toss a bunch into the tank instead of letting it rot in my fridge.

It's good roughage, but nutritionally it doesn't have much value.

yeah. I'm not looking to use it as a replacement for anything; simply to find an alternative to throwing it away.
