Is ceramic tile aquarium safe

Trying to find something to use for a shelf in the tank . Was tjknking ceramic tile

Ceramic tile is usually safe in aquariums. Lots of better choices for a shelf. How about egg crate, acrylic, or slate?

egg crates can be covered easily

Tile is really nice to use and looks great. If you want you can place them back to back and have the top and bottom with the design

I was looking for a black marble to go with my black diamond sand they didnt really have what i wanted bjt it will look good till i find what i wanted thanks for the info guys ill add pics when j get done. Just need a little cave for my brown knife fish.
