Is dieffenbachia safe for fish?

Alright, I saw someone in another post that had a dieffenbachia in the tank, but dieffenbachias are poisonous. I tried to asked but lost the thread, can't seem to find it again.

So first, IS dieffenbachia safe for fish? And if so, how well does it do in the tank?

The reason I want to use them, if they are indeed safe is that my dollars will not be able to eat them (unlike most of the "aquarium kind") I already have bamboo going, but that is not much to look at.

Oh, while I am asking plant questions.. I have some huge lava rocks in my tanks, what plant would grow on the lava rock, almost like a vine/full coverage.. Some kind of moss or carpet plant?

I have no idea on the dieff, sorry.
For the lava rock you can use any of the mosses (java, christmas, flame etc), anubias (be prepared for it to take awhile to cover though). Those are your best bets.
