Hey,

Ive been having problems with keeping food and fish crap off the bottom of my tank. I have positioned korilla pumps in various spot seem to have no luck. Its a 72 gallon tank, trying to direct everything into the over flow in the top left. I was thinking of dishing out $$$ for ecotech wave maker...how ever it will be rated for tanks over 300 gallons since I will most likely be using it in the upgrade as well. Just want to make sure befor eactually purchasing the ecoteach wave maker...will one suffice? "Also will it bring up all the crap to the horizon of Jesus?"...Lol cousin said that as he was convincing me to get it. Basically would it bestrong enough to push debri off the sand and up towards the over flow?

Thanks, guess this is a question for Ecotech Wave Maker owners...

Ecotechs are generally used in salt but I would bet it would keep food elevated. A 40 In a 72 is more then enough so you should be fine. If you turn it all the way up it will make a sandstorm if u want it. With how many setting there is on it you can really fine tune the flow better then anything

Why not just vacuum the substrate every other day and add new water, I think your fish would be better off. It's the krapp you can't see that is the worst.
